As Reed Turkey, we are looking for an "Technical Purchasing Specialist" with below requirements for our client.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (preferably in engineering),
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing all procurement operations (materials and services),
- Experience in purchasing components such as plastic, metal, etc.,
- Strong supplier management skills, including international suppliers,
- Proficiency in ERP and Excel along with strong negotiation skills,
- Professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken),
- Strong planning and organizational skills,
- Knowledge of import and customs processes,
- Resident in European side of Istanbul,
Requirements:
- Manage all procurement operations, including materials and services,
- Manage supplier contracts, relationships and ensure cost effective and timely delivery of materials,
- Apply MRP ( Material Requirement Planning) knowledge to optimize procurement processes,
- Research new markets and new suppliers to reduce costs and manage their launch processes,
- Collaboration with cross functional divisions to maintain smooth flow of processes,
- Track supplier evaluations and supplier improvement activities,
