As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Chief Steel Structural Engineer" with below requirements for our multinational client operating in Steel Manufacturing sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering,
- 5+ years of experience in modeling Steel Structures solving steel connection details and preparing fabrication drawings,
- Proficient in using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD,
- Familiar with SAP2000,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Team player with excellent communication skills,
- Residing or willing to reside in Bursa / Gemlik.
Requirements
- Reviewing documents received from clients and coordinating design and detailed calculations,
- Designing and calculating the lowest total cost by considering technical specifications and engineering principles, considering the company’s manufacturing and assembly capabilities, transportation, and material availability,
- Performing strength calculations for steel structural elements,
- Creating material lists, tracking and reporting revisions, and transferring information to the procurement department,
- Preparing fabrication drawings, ERP, and CNC data in compliance with factory manufacturing conditions and usage,
- Evaluating projects from an assembly perspective and contributing to assembly methods through calculations and drawings,
- Addressing any design, fabrication, and assembly inconsistencies as needed,
- Preparing technical documentation for designers when needed.
