As Reed Turkey, we are looking for a "Environment Health and Safety Engineer" with below requirements for our client operating in Plastics sector in Beylikdüzü, Istanbul.
Qualifications
- University degree in Environmental Engineering,
- Experienced in ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System,
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position,
- Environmental Officer certificate is a plus,
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety management (especially in Risk Assessment and Machine,Human Safety)
- Minimum B2 level of English in speaking and reading/writing is required,
- Minimum C level HSE certificate is required,
- International safety training, e.g. NEBOSH, CMSE, OSHA is a plus,
- Reside or willing to reside in Beylikdüzü – Istanbul (shuttle available between Beylikdüzü and Haliç)
Requirements
- Define, improve and maintain site HSE program requirements and expectations,
- Conduct daily HSE audits, site Gemba Walks,
- Ensure that all operations specific health & safety and environmental risks are identified, and appropriate risk management plans are in place,
- Follow up and supervise the HSE performance, waste management, hazards, risks and precautions,
- Provide health, safety and environmental training,
- Lead ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 certification process,
- Create, manage, control and report department budget related to HSE requirements.
